DEFINITIONS
Student
The term student is referred to person(s) enrolled or registered into any programme of the School. The School reserves the right to dismiss any student prior to his/her enrollment by rescinding that student’s admission upon finding a cause to do so.
Misconduct
The term misconduct is any action taken by a student that endangers or threatens the health or safety of the School community or the educational mission of the School or any behavior that violates the standard of conduct. Code
Means the School Code of Student Conduct except the context specifically indicates otherwise.
Sanction
Means a disciplinary outcome or violation of the Code of Student Conduct used as a means of providing education about the School rules and regulation for a period of time as a result of behavior that is potentially dangerous to the health, and safety of the School community or its reputation and educational mission. During this period the student is denied registration for classes, attending classes or visits to the School.
Expulsion
Is an official notification by the School to the student that he or she is unqualified to continue as a student of the School. This action severs the student’s relationship with the School immediately and makes the student ineligible to be considered for reinstatement.
Reprimand
Is an official notification by the School that a student’s behavior is unacceptable by the School standards and that the student needs to change his/her behaviour.
